I've been watching a lot of space documentaries- I believe this piece must have been inspired by that. Sort of looks like Earths electromagnetic field.
This piece is made from bare copper wire using wire weaving techniques and a multi-colored glass bead is it's center. It hangs from a 17" copper ball chain with a ball joint clasp. Both the piece and the chain have been treated and polished for an antique look.
Each order is nicely packaged for gift-giving even if you are gift giving yourself :)
