A cairn is a pile of stones which marks a boundary, a route across the ground, or the top of a mountain. Rock stacking has also carried spiritual meaning across cultures for centuries. The act of balancing stones carries with it a practice of patience and a physical effort of creating balance.

In a sense I'm still trying to find balance with these pendants. How do the stones work with one another? How do they need to be wrapped functionally and aesthetically? Its intention and patience and it is my version of a wearable cairn.
